Come Visit Us
Did you know that students who visit universities before attending are more likely to graduate? A recent study at UCLA points out that, "The importance of a visit to campus in choosing which college to attend is also positively associated with degree completion, with an effect large enough to be considered among the stronger effects . . . where it increases the odds of graduation . . . by 6.4%." Already have a room assignment?
If you already have a room assignment for fall, contact Lauren Finlon, Housing marketing coordinator at lfinlo2@uic.edu or (312) 355-6342 with what space you want to see a few dates and times that would work for tours. If your exact space is not available to be shown at a time convenient to you (because of use over the summer by conferences, routine maintenance, or other issues), she will find a comparable space to show you.
Group Visits
If you have a group of 10 or more students, in 9th grade or above, we will be happy to arrange a personalized visit for your group. Call Lauren Finlon at (312) 355-6342 to set up an appointment. To arrange a group visitation beyond the residence halls, please contact the Office of Admissions and Records' Group Visits. They will be more than happy to help you schedule a full campus tour.
Please contact us at least two weeks ahead of time so we can make all of the necessary arrangements.

UIC Campus Preview Days
Please visit Office of Admissions and Records’ Preview Days to register for a Preview Day or other campus tour. If you cannot make one of these days, but still would like a tour of Campus Housing, please contact lfinlo2@uic.edu.
Individual Tours
In addition to the Preview Day and Open House events mentioned above (which we strongly encourage prospective students to attend to get a complete sense of what UIC and Campus Housing has to offer), Campus Housing offers residence hall tours of a typical room. Appointments for a tour should be scheduled by contacting lfinlo2@uic.edu or call Lauren Finlon at (312) 355-6342.
