Welcome to UIC Campus Housing! On this page you will find important information about dates and deadlines, as well as information to help you on Move-In Day.
The residence halls are scheduled to open on Saturday, January 9, 2014 at noon. (Monday, January 11 is the first day of classes.) Please see Where to Check In for more information. All students new to Campus Housing should make a special point to move in early enough to connect with the residence life team. Team members will be available to help new students get to know one another as well as become comfortable with their new environment prior to the first day of classes.
Arriving Early or Arriving Late
If you are planning to arrive before Saturday, January 9, please sign up for interim housing at www.housing.uic.edu/interim. Students in undergraduate halls (CMN, CMS, CTY, CMW, JST, MRH, TBH, SRH, PSR) will pay a small per-night fee for interim housing. Residents of SSR may move in before January 9 without additional charge (however they must still sign up for interim so that we can have an accurate assessment of who is in the building).
If you are planning to arrive after Monday, January 11, please contact the Housing Office prior to January 9 so that your late arrival will not be mistaken for a change in your housing plans.

Parking passes are not available for the main city streets by the residence halls, it is encouraged that you have someone available to remain with your vehicles while you are moving belongings in and checking in. Change of Plans
If you have changed your plans and will not be occupying the room to which you've been assigned, you would be helping out another student by informing us of a change of plans as quickly as possible. Returning residents must come to the Central Housing Office to fill out Contract Cancellation paperwork. You may contact us via phone at (312) 355-6300 or via email at email@example.com.
