Meal Plans at a Glance

This year UIC offers all-you-care-to-eat, anytime dining. You can eat all you want at designated locations, any day, and anytime (see locations and hours) according to the meal plan you choose. All students who live in regular residence halls which do not have their own cooking facilities (such as MRH, TBH or SSR) are required to choose a meal plan.

Are you on campus every day of the week? Our 7-Day RED meal plan is right for you.

Do you go home for the weekends? Our 5-Day BLUE meal plan is perfect for you.

Do you have a taste for fast food too? Our Plus3 or Plus5 meals plan includes Dragon Dollar$ for use at additional locations.

The cost of the 5 Day Blue meal plan is included in all non-apartment rooms
rates.

Change your meal plan

All residents in our traditional (non-apartment) residence halls receive the 5-Day BLUE meal plan by default. If you would like to upgrade your meal plan, please visit the meal plan change form.

To add Dragon Dollar$, visit the Dragon Dollar$s Center website.

This application may be used to make changes to your elected meal plan prior to August 13th at 5:00 PM. At this time, your information must be processed by the ID Center to assess billing prior to Financial Aid deadlines. After this time, you may continue to make changes to your plan by contacting the ID Center. Any changes made after the above deadline may not be reflected on your initial student billing, but will be reflected in subsequent bills.
