Commons West (CMW) is a four-story traditional residence hall, accommodating approximately 350 students. Special interest housing in CMW includes communities for the Honors College, Engineering, Women in Science and Engineering, Architecture, Arts, Pre-pharmacy and Pre-medicine.

Each residence hall includes:
- Air conditioning and heat
- Free laundry for residents

- Extra-long twin bed, desk and chair, clothes closet and storage drawers
