Guest Housing at UIC

Guest housing in the Single Student Residence (SSR) is conveniently located in the Illinois medical District, three blocks from the UIC Medical Center and across the street from the West Side VA Hospital and John Stroger County Hospital.

SSR is just off the Eisenhower expressway, minutes away from Little Italy, Greek Town, Chinatown, Pilsen and the Loop. Public transportation is available with the blue and pink lines of the CTA trains and several bus stops nearby.

SSR is a fully furnished, air-conditioned high rise building that UIC medical students and graduate students call home. The guest suites contain a bedroom, bathroom, living room/living space and kitchen.
