SRH 5 — Spa Night
On Tuesday, October 28, 2008, the ladies of SRH 5—the all-girls floor of Student Residence Hall—held their first-ever spa night. The event was open to everyone who wanted to enjoy the festivities. The mood was calming and relaxing as everyone mingled while Sex and The City played in the background. Naomi Bedford, the president of PSRH hall council, decided that it would be a great idea for the girls of SRH 5 to have a spa night to relax after midterms.
But what started off as a small gathering soon opened up to an event for the entire west campus residence halls. “I just really wanted to do something that would be fun yet relaxing, so I thought, ‘hey, why not have a spa night?’ What’s better than facials and manicures to help a girl relax after a week of papers and midterms?” Naomi stated with a smile as she began the facial of PSRH Resident Director, Jeneane King.
The spa night had a great turn out. The young ladies and the few guys who did show up really enjoyed the evening of facials, manicures, movies, and baked goodies.
